Reproduction antique lamps, such as the wonderful Tiffany lamps with their exquisite shades, can be found in almost all good lighting stores and often made to incorporate many of the features which you would expect to see in a modern lamp. For example, many will incorporate a modern safety switch, make use of an energy saving light bulb and are be adjustable so that you are able to alter such things as the height of the lamp and the angle of the shade.

So, if you are out shopping for furniture, don't restrict yourself to modern design lighting but look around for a wonderful antique desk lamp which will give your room that special look and feel.
